Saint Paul's on-the-Hill Episcopal Church

Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to visit us in person; we would be delighted to meet you. If you have any questions, give us a call or contact our priest by email at hilary@spoth.org or send an email to our secretary at office@spoth.org. Below you will find much information about the Episcopal Church in general. To learn more about our church specifically, check out our page entitled Community/Ministries.

When you come into St. Paul's on-the-Hill, you will be met by a greeter at the door and by ushers who will give you a bulletin. The greeter and ushers are there to assist you and to answer any questions that you may have. The worship space is immediately to your right when you walk in, the restrooms are to your left.  The nursery, which is staffed from 9am to the end of the 10am service (usually about 11am), is to the left at the end of the hall on the right. Our parish hall is downstairs (the stairs are directly across from the front door) -- that's where you will find adult education meeting at 9am and where we have fellowship time following both the 8am service and the 10am service. Come dressed as you feel most comfortable; many dress causally for our services.

Holy Communion--a few notes
All baptized persons of any denomination are welcome to receive communion in our church. We have gluten-free wafers for those who are allergic to wheat. Please let our priest know if you would like to receive a gluten-free wafer in advance of the service. Reception of the bread is full communion. The wine does not need to be received if one prefers not to for whatever reason. Our priest and trained Lay Eucharistic Ministers are available to bring communion to those who are sick and unable to attend church. Please call the office to schedule a visit if you are not currently being visited.
