The Second Station - The Women Run

 Reader 1:  Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

 All:     It is right to give God thanks and praise.

The women ran to tell the others

Reader 3:

they ran in astonishment up the field,

     across the land, through rough lanes,

dust scuffed by their feet.

ALL:

Inspire and strengthen us, O God, to tell others of your astonishing acts.

We pray, good Lord, for the impulse to share the Good News with others.

Reader 2:

You come to us in many ways.

All:We thank you, Lord, that others have come to tell us.

Reader 1: Rejoice, my friends, Christ is risen.

        All: Rejoice, dear friends, the Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia.
